The luggage hatch covers from Finland are famous for their tightness and durability.
The 24cm round lid in the classic version made of rubber.
Fits on the same 24cm frame as the Click-On lid.
The Classic lid is pulled piece by piece over the edge of the frame during assembly.
A little silicone spray will make the process easier.
The Classic lid can be easily pulled off, unfortunately accidentally, if:
- the cover was not installed properly
- a safety line gets stuck somewhere
- There is great pressure on the lid surface
The KS rubber lids are UV-protected when new.
A UV protection spray (e.g. from McNett) can extend the protection.
If they are not used for a long time, they should be powdered with talc.
